Week two of Gaston Early College Highschool

The past two weeks have been rather extraordinary, because Gaston Early College High School has opened it's doors to the students attending. I, a student, have been loving every second of school, and I can't wait for that enjoyment to follow me into the rest of the school year.

Although I feel very blessed to be here, there are some nuisances that can only be fixed within the time that our school building is finished being constructed. It's very uncomfortable being stuck in an auditorium all day with very little room to move around and interact with our fellow colleagues.

Nonetheless, the student body has had a blast with our Introduction to Publications class. We have accomplished several grammar lessons, made a couple presentations, but best of all, we have learned about everything to do with copyright and copyright-related topics.

We have confabulated fair use, Creative Commons, copyright, and public domain. At first , the students had no idea that there were so many laws and facts about this topic, so we have put together a presentation using a website called Prezi. Check it out!

We also did an online scavenger hunt that resulted in many students wondering how to hyperlink URLs. So I surfed the web, and I came across this video.

In conclusion, this is the past week in review. I will be posting blogs every week. Happy blogging!
